The Rainbow 3 features 8K-grade electrostatic capacitive joysticks, delivering smooth, highly precise input while helping reduce the wear and drift associated with traditional potentiometer-based sticks. Combined with an ultra-fast 2000Hz polling rate in wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes, the controller is built to register inputs with minimal delay.
Switch between Hall Effect linear triggers for precise analog control and micro-switch trigger mode for a shorter, faster actuation ideal for shooters and action games. The controller also uses 16 mecha-tactile micro-switch buttons, providing crisp and responsive feedback across its primary controls.
For added flexibility, the Rainbow 3 includes four remappable auxiliary buttons—two rear buttons and two additional top shoulder buttons. Button mapping, macros, turbo functions, joystick response, trigger settings, motion controls, and lighting can all be customized through supported software and onboard controls.
